Timeless Education: Rescue at Cherry Bowl

Timeless Education: Rescue at Cherry Bowl

Rescue at Cherry Bowl, a five-part film and microsite produced by Avalanche Canada, tells the story of a group of skiers that were rescued after being hit by a size 3.5 avalanche while touring west of Terrace, B.C., in March 2013. In addition to being a fascinating narrative, it stands as a timeless avalanche education piece.

The multi-media microsite explores different aspects of the event. Each video chapter is complemented with additional education beneath it, so be sure to scroll down. We recommend bookmarking and watching it every season.
